JAY – Those expecting to register to vote at the polls on Election Day need to bring proof of identification and proof of residency, Jay Town Clerk Ronda Palmer said.

Proof of identification could be a state driver’s license or state identification, Palmer said.

Proof of residency could be a cable bill or telephone bill, something with a street address on it, not a post office box, she said.

Jay’s polls are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Community Building.
