“Kerry carries Lisbon High,” read the headline (Oct. 26), but the article was very misleading. President Bush won the presidency whether anyone likes it or not, so how can you be half-right in the 2000 election? You are either right or wrong. There is no middle ground.

It is well-known that the Electoral College decides the election, not the popular vote.

That story belonged in the high school newspaper, not the Sun Journal, and definitely not on the front page.

Did the Sun Journal expect readers to buy a paper because of that article?
