I voted yes for the tax cap, and I feel I won because in the Nov. 3 Sun Journal, the governor promised to make tax reform the No. 1 priority in the next session and would not recess until that issue was addressed and resolved.

I, and many others, felt that Question 1 was not the answer, but I still feel that if we all voted no, the entire issue of tax reform would have fallen through the cracks and real estate taxes would continue to rise.

The yes voters of the tax reform question refused to get their bear claws caught in the trap, and it is unfortunate that the real bears will continue to suffer for a small percentage of the people who like to see animals suffer.
