BRYANT POND – Peter Lenz of Norway will be the featured speaker at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the Whitman Memorial Library. The library will be closed on the regular meeting date because of Veterans Day.

Lenz is a well known historian and folklorist. He will speak on local folklore, with much of his information gleaned from the late Colista Morgan of Greenwood.

Lenz is the author and editor of history books and is working on a two-volume set on the folklore, people and treasures of Maine. He is also known for his sense of humor.

The program is open to the public and is free. All are welcome.
