AUBURN – Chris Casey has joined Formed Fiber Technologies Inc. as human resources and benefits manager for the automotive interiors manufacturer.

Casey manages all aspects of the company’s comprehensive benefit programs and is responsible for providing overall human resources support for the Auburn manufacturing facility.

He has more than 15 years in benefits management and human resource generalist experience. He was with Mercy Hospital in Portland as benefits and compensation manager. Previously, he was an employee benefits manager with Central Maine Power Co.

Casey earned a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from the University of Maine, and has achieved his certified employee benefits specialist designation.

He coaches Cal Ripken Youth Baseball in Brunswick, where he resides with his wife, Michelle, and their children Adam and Julia.

Formed Fiber Technologies employs more than 800 associates at its plants in Maine, Ohio and South Carolina.

The company is a leading supplier of nonwoven trim components to original equipment manufacturers and converters in the automotive industry.
