AUBURN – The wedding of Stephanie Lea Davis and Richard Bailey Hansen was held at noon on May 8 at St. Louis Church in Auburn. The Rev. Frank Murray, pastor, and Daniel Johnston, pastor, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Hansen is the daughter of Scott and Lisa Davis of Auburn. Mr. Hansen is the son of Robert and Lorna Hansen of Auburn.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white, full-length strapless gown with beaded bodice and beaded appliqués through the gown with full-length train. She carried a spring bouquet of white roses, miniature Calla lilies, blue heather and yellow butterstock.

Ashley Davis was maid of honor for her sister and bridesmaids were Kaitlyn Davis, sister, and Sarah Sue St. Pierre, cousin of the bride. Casey Lacasse, cousin of the bridegroom, and Julia Frost, cousin of the bride, were the flower girls.

Performing the duties of best man was John Rhoda, friend of the bridegroom, and ushers were Eric Johnston, friend of the bridegroom, and Andy Andrew Barnes, friend of the bridegroom. Adam Desjardin, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.

A reception followed at the AMVETS Hall in New Gloucester, after which the couple traveled to Rockland. They are residing in Poland.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Maine at Farmington. She is a kindergarten teacher at St. Joseph’s School in Lewiston.

The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in history from Eastern University in Pennsylvania. He is employed at Bedard Medical Health Care of Lewiston.
