LEWISTON – Mr. and Mrs. Rick Michaud of Kennesaw, Ga., formerly of Lewiston, are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sara Maria Michaud of Denver, Colo., formerly of Lewiston, to Rick David LaPoint of Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, N.C., formerly of Lewiston, son of Janet St. Pierre of Lewiston and Larry LaPoint of Cape Elizabeth.
Miss Michaud is a graduate of Lewiston High School and is serving with the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. LaPoint is a graduate of Lewiston High School, transferring from Portland High School. He is serving with the U.S. Marine Corps.
The wedding will be held at 1 p.m. on Nov. 13 at Bates College Chapel in Lewiston.
