OCEAN POINT – Rachel M. Read and Adam B. Chamberlin were married on Sept. 4 at the Janet M. Wilson Memorial Chapel. The ceremony was performed by Crystal Davis, notary public and friend of the couple. A reception followed at Fisherman’s Wharf in Boothbay Harbor and continued through the evening as the wedding guests joined the couple aboard the Harbor Princess for a sunset cruise.

The bride is the daughter of Dean and Penny Read of Bar Harbor. She is employed at UnumProvident in Portland.

The bridegroom is the son of Arthur Chamberlin of Canton and Sue Howe of Cottonwood, Ariz. He is employed at Spring Harbor Hospital in Westbrook.

The bride wore a white sleeveless Duchess satin gown with direct beading around the Empire waistline and a semi-chapel train.

Bridal attendants were Marianne Read, sister of the bride, as maid of honor and bridesmaids were Danis Chamberlin, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, Sarah Vedella, sister of the bridegroom, and Naiomi Manjourides and Liza Remington, friends of the couple. Katy Dixon, friend of the couple, provided an inspirational reading.

Attending the bridegroom were best men Zach Chamberlin and Josh Chamberlin, brothers of the bridegroom, and Todd Wing, Jason Manjourides and Tim Remington, friends of the couple.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in the Dominican Republic. They are residing in Buxton.
