In the Nov. 4 Sun Journal, there was an article titled “Brothers agree to avoid church.”

The details read, “Two brothers accused of stealing a cross from a Livermore Falls churchyard agreed to stay away from the church. …” Isn’t that resolution a little twisted? Should it not read: “Brothers agree to attend church,” not stay away from it?
