While working at a local eatery recently, a sports team of about 30 middle school boys and girls came in to eat. Their coach, or coaches, and some parents were with them. I found it sad to see how some (not all) of those young adults act in public. They were walking on benches, tossing food around and being so loud that it was distracting for employees and other customers.

I hear all the time that we need to lighten up when it comes to today’s youth. Why, I ask? Isn’t every generation taught courtesy and respect?

I guess not.
