Once again voters in Maine have exercised their right to vote and have sent back to Augusta more people with a Democratic Party affiliation than those with a Republican Party affiliation. Why do they do that?

The Democrats have been in control for 30 years and their record on limiting social services, controlling spending and working with the Republicans is what it is. Some of the statistics to consider are high property taxes, high income taxes, a sales tax, a poor business climate, failure to process our natural resources with value added before selling them out of state, our land continues to be purchased by out-of-state people, and very poor leadership.

Why do the citizens of Maine continue to send Democrats to Augusta?
