WATERVILLE – Marion Cassidy, 64, of Avon, died Monday afternoon, Nov. 8, at Maine General Hospital – Thayer Unit.

Born in Newburyport, Mass., March 22, 1940, the daughter of Warren and Louise (Bachelder) Barrett, she retired from Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice, where she worked as an LPN.

She is survived by five children, Michael, Barbara, Patricia, John and Stephan; grandchildren, Cynthia Cassidy, Michael Cassidy, Jr., Jennifer Sullivan, Brian Sullivan, Zachary Abbott, Russell Abbott, Thomas Abbott and Shelby Cassidy; her loving companion, Fred Howard, of Avon; brothers, Clarence and his wife, Mary Ellen, of New Hampshire, Howard and his wife, Norma, of Sanford, and Warren, of New Hampshire.

She was predeceased by a companion of 17 years, Bob Grundy.
