This past Sunday at 2 p.m. Saint Peter and Sacred Heart School held its annual Halloween party at the Knights Columbus Hall in Lewiston. There were games and prizes and a DJ provided by Chris Moreau, one of our parents. Some of the games were a bean bag toss, hopscotch, a fishing game, and a few others. Snacks were also provided to everyone. Students, staff and some parents dressed in costumes and enjoyed the afternoon with everyone.
One of the games was to guess how many M&M’s were in a jar. There were 2,141 M&M in the jar and the winning guess was by Ben Doherty of 2,132. All the students, staff and families had a great time dancing to great music, like the Limbo and The Chicken Dance, the Macarena and they also danced the new Cha Cha Slide.
There were a lot of parent volunteers and teachers that helped make this a successful event. We thank all of them because without them it would have not been as successful as it turned out to be.
