WORCESTER, Mass. – Mary Ann McDonald, 96, of 80 Baldwin St., died Thursday, Nov. 11, in Clark Manor Nursing Home.
She was born in Mexico, the daughter of John and Christina (McDougal) McDonald and lived in Rumford and Mexico all of her life until moving to Leicester, Mass., in 1995. She was a storeroom clerk for 26 years at Ethel Corp. in Rumford before retiring in 1970.
She was a 50-year member of the Daughters of Isabella and a longtime member of the Snow Shoe Club both in Rumford. She was a former member of St. Theresa’s Church in Mexico.
She leaves two nieces, Nancy L. Wenckus-Bourgea with whom she lived, and Marilyn McDonald, of LaPine, Ore.; a nephew, Thomas W. Wenckus, of Rockport; close friends, Jerry and Ginny Bragdon, of Peru; and several great-nieces and nephews.
