Whoa! Wait a minute! What happens when lawbreakers decide the police can’t or won’t chase them if they speed?

I agree the decision may need to be made at some point that it is too dangerous to continue a chase; but let’s not handicap our enforcement officers with the opinion of a few. Their role is to apprehend lawbreakers, not say, “Bye, bye.”
