Not everyone who voted Republican is religious. I don’t attend church. It seems that Rex Rhoades (Nov. 7) is the judgmental one.

I have nothing against gay people, nor do I care what goes on between the belt and the knees, (as long as it doesn’t go on in the Oval Office), but I do care about the sanctity of marriage. Does that make me an ayatollah or jihadist? I think President Clinton was more guilty of trying to shape the morals of America by trying to make us believe oral sex is not sex.

I dare say Democrats use as much petroleum as Republicans.

I do care how many children die under the bombs, but I also care how many die by abortion.

As for the looting of Social Security, does Rhoades mean the way the Democrats looted it for all their social programs?

Rhoades stated that, “Jesus loves the poor people and that’s why he made so many of them.” I’m sure he loves them, but I’m not so sure he made them poor. I believe he also loves the hard worker who helps support the poor with higher and higher taxes.

It seems Rhoades lost his marbles and resents being put out of the game. But he should take heart, he has four years to spit his venom.

It’s sad that Rhoades and all his mullahs from Maine to Hollywood don’t leave this country. I’m sure no one would miss him or his columns.
