AUBURN – The wedding of Melissa L. Morin and David J. Roy was held at 6 p.m. on July 3 at Martindale Country Club in Auburn. Kathleen Currie, friend of the bride and notary public, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Roy is the daughter of April and George Sidebotham of Poland. Mr. Roy is the son of Marie and Rosaire Roy Jr. of Turner.
April Sidebotham, mother of the bride, attended as matron of honor and Nicholas Roy, son of the bridegroom, was the best man.
A reception followed at Martindale Country Club, after which the couple traveled to Boothbay Harbor. They are residing in Greene.
The bride is a 1993 graduate of Oxford Hills High School and is employed as a secretary at her husband’s business.
The bridegroom is a 1989 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and is self-employed.
