Potluck supper

WEST PARIS – A potluck supper and meeting of the West Paris Historical Society will begin at 6 p.m. Monday at the Historical Society building on Main Street. Ben Conat will speak on past doctors in West Paris.

Volunteers needed

PERU – Volunteers are being sought for the Peru SummerFest 2005. A meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Peru School. Those interested and are asked to attend the meeting. For more information phone Lynda at 562-7164 or Yvonne at 562-7496.

Raffle winner

RUMFORD – Flora Pelletier was the winner of a lighthouse painting created by Beth Soubble. The raffle was held at the Veterans Day ceremonies Thursday. All proceeds raised will benefit the 133rd Engineer Battalion of the Maine Army National Guard.
