RUMFORD – The women of the Rumford United Methodist Church have been busy getting ready for the Fabulous Fall Fair to be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at the church on Linnell Street in the Virginia section of town.
There will be a hospitality table with homemade doughnuts and coffee from 9 to 11 a.m. and a beef stew lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with homemade pies for dessert.
The food table will have jams, baked goods, bread and pies. Also for sale will be knit and fleece wear, tree decorations and several Red Hat items and decorations. Used books and puzzles will also be available.
A variety of crafts, including cloth bowls, potholders, humbug bags, schlep bags, snip-it bags, will be for sale. The Attic Treasures will be sold upstairs.
