MIAMI – Keyon Dooling forced a second overtime with a running layup, and the Miami Heat took advantage by scoring the first seven points of the extra session in a 112-110 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night.

Shaquille O’Neal had his third straight double-double, finishing with 19 points and 18 rebounds for Miami, which snapped a two-game losing streak in dramatic fashion.

Keith Van Horn scored eight points in the first overtime, including 3-pointers on consecutive trips. When Michael Redd hit a jumper from the top of the key with 11.7 seconds left, the Bucks were up four and seemingly poised to win their fourth straight.

But after Eddie Jones scored to cut the lead to 105-103, Van Horn gave the Heat their biggest break, dropping a pass and knocking the ball out of bounds with 5.7 seconds left. Dooling took the inbounds pass, raced the length of the floor and dropped in a layup with 1.4 seconds left to tie it.

76ers 96, Magic 87

PHILADELPHIA – Allen Iverson had 29 points and 12 assists, and Marc Jackson added 13 points to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a 96-87 win over the Orlando Magic on Sunday.

The Sixers have won the first three games on a season-long five-game homestand, though this was the first one they wrapped up in regulation.

After sending a game against New Jersey into overtime on a basket in the final seconds, then winning a game against Indiana with a shot at the buzzer, Iverson finished this one off early.

He had five assists in the third quarter, including two straight – on baskets to Jackson and Andre Iguodala – that snapped a tie game and led a decisive 17-9 run.

Iverson shook off a tender left ankle that he injured on Friday and didn’t seem bothered by a sore left arm hurt after he slammed into the base of the basket late in the third quarter.

Mavs 122, Wizards 113

WASHINGTON – Dirk Nowitzki had 32 points, 13 rebounds and five assists to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 122-113 victory over the Washington Wizards on Sunday.

Former Wizard Jerry Stackhouse added 28 points, including three 3-pointers during a 23-6 run in the fourth quarter that helped Dallas break open a close game.

Four Washington players scored at least 20 points. Former Maverick Antawn Jamison and Larry Hughes each had 23 points and Gilbert Arenas and Brendan Haywood added 20 apiece.

Arenas also had nine assists as Washington became the first team to score at least 100 points this season against Dallas, a team not generally known for its defensive prowess.

Jason Terry, the Mavericks’ other sixth man, had 13 points and 11 assists. The Mavericks’ reserves countered Washington’s quartet of 20-point scorers by outscoring the Wizards’ 50-13.

Sonics 118, Grizzlies 113

SEATTLE – Ray Allen scored a season-high 34 points and the Seattle SuperSonics overcame a 21-point deficit late in the third quarter to beat the Memphis Grizzlies 118-113 on Sunday night.

The Sonics won their sixth consecutive game after an opening-night loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. The loss dropped the Grizzlies, a 50-victory playoff team last season, to 2-5. The Sonics came back to win after trailing 94-73 with 3:50 left in the third period.

Allen scored 11 of his points in the final quarter, when Seattle erased a 100-84 deficit.

Antonio Daniels had 28 points for the Sonics, while Pau Gasol topped the Grizzlies with 25. Rashard Lewis had 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Sonics. Daniels also had 11 in the last quarter.

The Sonics tied the score at 107 on an 18-footer by Daniels with 3:33 left before Mike Miller retook the lead for Memphis with his own 18-footer. His free throw with 2:43 remaining gave his team a 110-107 lead.

Allen tied it again with a 3-pointer with 2:11 left, then Gasol gave the Grizzlies their last lead at 111-110 with a free throw with 1:52 remaining.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Brad Miller scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds, helping the Sacramento Kings defeat the Denver Nuggets 101-89 Sunday night.

Miller scored 11 points in the third quarter as the Kings stretched their lead to 77-63. The advantage stayed in double figures through much of the fourth quarter as Denver lost its 16th straight game.
