NORWAY – The Norway First Universalist Church UU inter-generational worship service on Sunday, Nov. 21, “Guest at Your Table,” will focus on the spiritual side of serving others, partly through the Unitarian-Universalist Service Committee. Participants, along with youth and children, will be Nancy Wood, Rebecca Hardy and the Rev. Joy Gasta. The service is at 11 a.m.
Bake sale set
BUCKFIELD – Operation Santa Claus will hold its annual bake sale From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at Northeast Bank, Depot Street. Baked goods are needed; contact Cheryl Saunders at 336-3084. Money donations will be accepted; send them to OSC, P.O. Box 344, Buckfield, ME 04220.
Fall beano
BUCKFIELD – Fall beano will be held Saturday Nov. 20, at the Buckfield Masonic Hall, High Street. Doors will open at 10 a.m. and the games will start at 11. Cost will be $10 to play all regular games; blackout and specials, extra. Refreshments will be on sale. Proceeds will benefit Buckfield Community Day 2005. There will be 50/50 raffles and door prizes.
