WILTON – Planners will consider two applications when they meet Thursday. Both applications are proposals to build garages at local small businesses. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the town office.
Boyd Bachelder wants to add a 36-by-60-foot garage to his A Tec Auto Service on Route 133. He also wants to increase the number of parking spaces for his business to a total of 40 spaces.
Ricky Enman wants to expand his paint and body shop with a 24-by-32 garage. That business is also on Route 133.
A discussion of road and subdivision road requirements, and the possibility of granting a waiver for a minor subdivision, have been postponed indefinitely. Code Enforcement Officer Katherine Shoaps is out for an undetermined amount of time due to a family emergency. Planners also want to discuss conflicts in the town’s subdivision ordinance and proposed changes upon Shoaps’ return.
