PORTLAND (AP) – T-Mobile, a national provider of wireless voice, messaging and data services, plans to open a call center at an office park outside Waterville that would provide more than 700 jobs, WCSH-TV reported Wednesday.

Details of the project will be unveiled at a presentation Friday morning by officials including Gov. John Baldacci, who was cutting short a European trade mission to take part in the announcement.

WCSH-TV said T-Mobile will move into First Park in Oakland, a campus-style business park geared toward high-tech companies.

T-Mobile, based in Bellevue, Wash., declined comment on whether it plans to expand to Maine.
