HARTFORD – Selectmen changed the warrant for a special town meeting during an emergency meeting Nov. 12.

The warrant posted on the Town Hall door is different than the one adopted at the Nov. 4 meeting. Articles 4 and 5 now have dollar amounts, and Article 5 specifies that the money will be used to train the new town clerk rather than the deputy town clerk.

The warrant will be considered at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Town Hall.

Article 4 now calls for authorizing $3,000 for curbside pickup at the Pine Shores subdivision.

Article 5 calls for authorizing $10,000 to pay for training a new town clerk.

At Thursday night’s selectmen’s meeting, the board issued a new tax bill to replace one that had been made in the wrong name, and the board approved several tax abatements.
