AUBURN – A local couple is searching for their 14-year-old daughter who is believed to have run away from home on Nov. 14.

Ashley Ann Bennett was last seen in New Auburn in the middle of the week, but police and her parents have been unable to speak with her.

Frank Bennett, Ashley’s father, said he has heard from other kids that his daughter may be running around with a gang and that she may have headed to Poland or Litchfield.

Frank Bennett said he has notified police and Auburn and Mechanic Falls about the girl’s disappearance. Ashley is described as 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing about 100 pounds. She has brown hair and greenish blue eyes.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call their local police department.
