BOOTHBAY HARBOR – Roland G. Levesque, 47, of 25 Rosewood Ave., Lewiston, died suddenly Nov. 18, upon arrival at St. Andrew’s Hospital. He was doing the thing he loved to do, playing golf with his friends.

He was born in Lewiston on Feb. 16, 1957, the son of Roland E. “Joe-Pete” and Bernadette (Turcotte) Levesque. He attended Lewiston schools and graduated from Lewiston High School Class of 1975.

For many years he owned and operated Levesque & Daughters Masonry and in April of 1982, he joined the Lewiston Fire Department as a firefighter where he was currently employed.

He was a proud member of the International Firefighters Association Local 785 where he served as Station Representative.

He was a sports enthusiast who loved to play softball, golf, and bowling. He also enjoyed fishing, watching the Oakland Raiders and Notre Dame football teams, woodworking, and most recently, four wheeling.

He enjoyed spending many nights watching the campfires with his family at their camp on Androscoggin Lake in Leeds.

He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Ricker) Levesque, whom he married on Oct. 28, 1977; his three daughters, Stacey Boulet and her husband, Jesse, Melissa Levesque, and Allison Levesque, all of Lewiston; his father, Roland “Joe-Pete” Levesque, of Lewiston; his three sisters, Connie Silva, of Louisiana, Patricia Mathieu and her husband, Richard, of Lewiston, and Madeline Levesque and her husband, Edward Comeau, of Lewiston; a sister-in-law, Kathy Bolduc and her husband, Bob, of Lewiston; his father-in-law, William Ricker, of Lewiston; his nieces and nephews that he loved to tease; and his extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his mother, Bernadette in 1989, his mother-in-law, Patricia Ricker, and his two brothers-in-law, Richard Silva and James Ricker.
