This letter is in reply to Rex Rhoades Nov. 7 column. He fails to understand that we live in a two-party government to keep a balance. Why is it that Democrats can never humbly lose? I’m not affiliated with any church or religion, but I do have high morals. I also know that the example we set for our young people is very important. This man cares more about foreigners at war with us than he does for Americans.
He dares call us ayatollahs when he sounds like a socialist in every sense. He watches too much TV. He says the red states are jihadists (holy warriors)? Get real! I’d rather be called a biblical moralist than a communist. I love my country no matter who is president, but as we read this trash it reassures us that Bush is what we need.
I noticed in the fine print that he was once a Baptist, what happened? Many rich fools in Hollywood promised they would move out of the country if Mr. Bush won. Well, he did. Maybe Rex can get a ride with them. I am not at all interested in his foolish opinions. I have my own, right or wrong.
God bless America and hail to the chief.
