DIXFIELD – The annual Christmas fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at Dixfield Congregational Church. There will be crafts, baked goods, candy, cheese, wreaths and candy cane swags. The event will also include a white elephant table, a raffle and a silent auction. Donations needed

RUMFORD – SeniorsPlus is seeking monetary donations for its Christmas bags for homebound elderly people. Every year, Christmas bags are delivered to the area’s homebound Meals on Wheels consumers. The bags are being decorated by second-graders at Peru Elementary School. Volunteers have been working on handmade items, such as dish cloths, hats, mittens and scarves. SeniorsPlus has purchased some items but still needs monetary donations to help make the project successful. People may obtain more information or make a donation by calling Kim at 364-3572.
