AUBURN – The city will light up its downtown Monday night with a holiday parade, hayrides and other events at Festival Plaza.
Festivities kick off at 4 p.m. at Festival Plaza with a scavenger hunt for toys, Christmas carols, arts and crafts and a moon bounce. The Auburn Business Association will provide free hot drinks and doughnuts until 6 p.m.
Santa Claus will make his way from the Auburn police station at 6:30 p.m., with a parade down Court Street to Festival Plaza. There, he will light the city’s Christmas tree and all of downtown. He’ll sit and hear Christmas wishes and give away photographs to children.
