WARWICK, R.I. (AP) – A 3-year-old Warwick girl has died when a 36-inch television fell on her.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at a home on Hazard Avenue. The girl was rushed to Hasbro Children’s Hospital and pronounced dead about an hour later. Her name has not been released.

“The initial investigation is that it is a tragic accident,” Sgt. Mark Canning said.
