Dear Sun Spots: I am thrilled with all the information you give to your readers and now I would appreciate your help. I would like a listing of the new exit numbers with the old corresponding numbers. I often have relatives and friends traveling this way and am now unable to tell them which exit to use while traveling on the Maine Turnpike. This information, I am sure will be of great help to many. Thank you so much. – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: Thank you for printing my letter and for your suggestions on possible sources for the original Skip Bo card decks. Sadly, neither of the sources you provided have the original Skip Bo cards. They have the latest edition, which unfortunately is not the white card with a very large number. We did receive a deck of cards from a 90-year-old great-grandmother who had purchased them for her great grandchildren only to learn that they were not interested in anything that wasn’t electronic. However, it too was the latest edition, not the original that Mattel advises me they no longer make. Because the original is not available commercially I have written to Sun Spots. The only source would be from someone who purchased them while they were still available. Someone like a Sun Spots column reader!

If we didn’t exhaust the last supply when we requested the cards, we are once more asking for help. Please send any of the original Skip Bo decks you or your family may have on hand but are no longer using and would be willing to part with them for a reasonable price. Please send to Ersel Murphy, 73 Mayville Road, Bethel, ME 04217-4409, (207) 824-2823. – Jim Murphy, No Town.
