NORWAY – The Oxford County Agriculture Society, better known as Oxford County Fair, will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the Ripley Medical Building Conference Center, Main Street.

The meeting is open to anyone who lives in Oxford County or the surrounding towns of Harrison, Mechanic Falls, Minot, Turner, Livermore and Poland.

The fair is looking for new members to help with many jobs that need to be done before the fair starts or during the fair itself. With the addition of the horse racetrack and the new buildings, there are many more jobs that need individuals to help.

Members will vote to elect directors for the coming year, and each department head will give a report on the department, how everything went during the fair and recommend any changes in 2005.

Those members who have not paid dues are invited to attend and pay. Those who might like to become one can also attend.
