Local high school student-athletes are now able to obtain their sports screens at their respective high schools. Lewiston Middle School, Lewiston Regional Technical Center, Lewiston High School, Auburn Middle School, and Edward Little High School all have health centers located at their facility. These centers are offering sports screen clinics over the next few weeks. All athletes must have a sport screen prior to tryouts for winter sports programs. The 15-minute appintments at the center cost $25.

Public skating planned

AUBURN – The Auburn Parks and Recreation Department is planning more public skating at Ingersoll Arena during December.

Cost for Senior Citizens and high school age students and under is $2, and $3 for other adults.

The hours are 12 noon to 2 p.m.

Following are the December dates: Wednesday, Dec. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; Saturday, Dec. 4; Sunday, Dec. 5, 12, 19, 26; and Friday, Dec. 31.

There will be additional dates in January, February and March
