LEWISTON – SeniorsPlus will sponsor a “Best Friends Approach to Alzheimer’s Care Training” from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at its office, 8 Falcon Road.

The training is for anyone who provides care for an individual with Alzheimer’s.

Grant writing workshop slated

AUBURN – The Maine Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Inc. will host a grant-writing workshop for anyone who wants to apply for funding from the affiliate in the 2004-2005 grant cycle.

The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 10, at the Hilton Garden Inn. The workshop is free, but those who wish to attend must pre-register by noon Tuesday, Dec. 7. To register, call 947-2691 or e-mail [email protected].
