• Nov. 28, 12:20 p.m. – A Maine Avenue resident reported a domestic dispute. After an investigation, Kenneth Adley, 40, of Rumford, was arrested on charges of domestic assault, domestic terrorizing and violating probation, for allegedly choking a woman, said Detective Sgt. Stacy Carter. Adley was taken to Oxford County Jail in Paris. He is to be arraigned Jan. 4 in Rumford District Court.

• Nov. 28 – A Hancock Street resident reported that someone had damaged their lawn. The ongoing problem, Carter said Tuesday night, is that a driveway connects Hancock and Somerset streets, a driveway that a previous owner had allowed others to use. Now, he said, the property has a new owner, who has posted the former driveway as private property, but people are still using the driveway and running over the owner’s lawn.

• Nov. 28, 8:50 p.m. – An Erchles Street resident reported that someone had kicked and damaged a reindeer Christmas decoration in her yard.

• Nov. 28, 11:40 p.m. – An Erchles Street resident reported that someone had kicked and damaged a reindeer Christmas decoration in his yard. Both Erchles Street incidents are believed to have occurred sometime between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Police have four juvenile suspects in the criminal mischief incidents.

• Nov. 26, 11:30 p.m. – Police responding to the Barnboard Restaurant and Lounge at 12 Oxford Ave. to take a report, ended up arresting a Rumford woman on another matter. Jessica True, 29, was charged with disorderly conduct after she reportedly punched a man in the face while Patrolman Charles Beale was there. True was released on $2,000 surety bail, and is to be arraigned on Jan. 4 in Rumford District Court.

Summonses

All of the following are to be arraigned on Jan. 4 in Rumford District Court:

• A 16-year-old Mexico boy, on a charge of assault, at 8:45 a.m. Nov. 30 at Mountain Valley High School on Hancock Street.

• A 17-year-old Rumford boy, on a charge of operating without a license, on Nov. 29 on Hancock Street.

• Gloria Tidswell, 47, of Rumford, on a charge of permitting unlawful use of a motor vehicle, on Nov. 29 on Hancock Street.
