LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens will not meet Monday since many members will be taking a trip that day.

On Dec. 13, they will have their Christmas meal. Each member is being asked to contribute a food item, either a casserole, a salad, pastry or anything they wish.

They are also to take a gift with no name on it to be used in the annual “rip-off” game. This will be a day of fun with surprise entertainment and no business meeting, organizers said.

Members are also being reminded to sign up for the SeniorsPlus meal that will be served Dec. 27.

There were 37 members present for the Nov. 29 meeting, and Cecile Hathaway was welcomed back. Pauline Duguay is on the sick list. The drawing was won by Marilyn DeSoto, and Carmen Moreau won the basket filled with small jars of jellies, which was donated by Shirley Toncer.

Virginia DiTata was unable to attend when the group honored veterans in November so her memento was delivered to her by Pat Knowlton.
