BETHEL – As part of December’s Country Christmas in Bethel celebration, chefs from several area restaurants are to serve up samples of their wares this weekend.

At the seventh annual Taste of Bethel event from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at Telstar High School cafeteria on Route 26, appetites can be whetted on 75-cent samplings of main dishes, soups, desserts and more. Beverages will also be available.

Additionally, at this festive event, from 2 to 4 p.m., a Theme Wreath Silent Auction is to be held. The wreaths come fully decorated and loaded with toys, gift certificates, and such from local businesses.
