Accidents
Lewiston

• Gerald Manchard, 54, of Lewiston, lost control of his vehicle and slid into a pole on the opposite side of the road at 12:25 p.m. Friday at Webster and Farwell streets. Damage to his 1998 Ford was estimated at $5,000.

• Vehicle driven by Gary J. Boulet, 36, and Dorothee Therriault, 66, both of Lewiston, collided head-on at 12:10 p.m. Friday on Montello Street. According to a police report, Therriault lost control of her vehicle in ice and snow and slid into Boulet’s. Damage to Boulet’s 2001 Dodge was estimated at $1,500; to Therriault’s 2002 Ford, $11,000.

• Steven T. Lunn, 27, of West Bath, lost control of his vehicle in ice and snow and flipped it onto its side at 7:35 a.m. Friday on Lisbon Street. Damage to his 1995 Ford was estimated at $2,000.

Auburn

• Vehicle driven by Robert J. Cogswell, 57, of Turner, and Jama Mohamed, 23, of Lewiston, collided at 2:30 p.m. Friday on Riverside Drive. Damage to Cogswell’s 1998 International and to Mohamed’s 1998 Isuzu was estimated at $5,000 each.

• Verne E. Paradie, 32, of Auburn, lost control of his vehicle in ice and snow and slid off the roadway at 7:03 a.m. Friday at Merrill Street and Western Avenue.

• Vehicles driven by Jeannie A. Troscianiec, 47, of Wayne, and Michael R. Higgins, 36, of Auburn, collided at 8:35 a.m. Friday at Clark Street and Western Avenue. Damage to Troscianiec’s 1998 Mazda was estimated at $3,500; to Higgins’ 1995 GMC, $3,000.

• Vehicles driven by Debra A. Merrill, 44, of Greene, and Diane M. Landry, 44, of Auburn, collided at 8:30 a.m. Friday on Mount Auburn Avenue. Damage to Merrill’s 1995 Buick was estimated at $3,000; to Landry’s 2000 Jeep, $1,800.

• A vehicle driven by Ann S. Sanders, 50, of Livermore, struck an unidentified vehicle at 7:30 a.m. Friday on Route 4. Damage to Sanders’ 1993 Ford was estimated at $3,500; damage to the second vehicle, which was driven from the scene, was unknown.

• Danielle R. Martel, 44, of Auburn, lost control of her vehicle in ice and snow and slid into a ditch at 10:48 a.m. Friday on West Auburn Road. Damage to her 1996 Chevrolet was estimated at $6,000.

• Vehicles driven by Kathryn L. Johnston, 41, of Auburn, and Tami L. Kelly, 41, of Casco, collided at 7:10 a.m. Friday on Court Street. Damage to Johnston’s 1995 Jeep was estimated at $1,900; to Kelly’s 2004 Dodge, $2,000.

• Vehicles driven by Brenda MacDonald, 23, of Lewiston, and Joseph Villaci, 19, of Windham, collided at 7:13 a.m. Friday on Riverside Drive. Damage to the 1992 Subaru, driven by MacDonald and owned by Allen Pond Motors, and to Villaci’s 1989 Volvo was estimated at $5,000 each.
