LEWISTON – Mayor Lionel Guay and Lewiston city officials were on hand for the grand opening at Androscoggin Bank’s new Sabattus Street branch.
Designed by Platz Associates, the new building is a 2,600-square-foot, full service branch for both residential and commercial customers.
“The new Sabattus Street office is a showplace within our branch network,” said Steven Closson, Androscoggin Bank president. “We think our customers will be pleased with the many upgrades and improvements offered by the branch as well as our continued commitment to deliver outstanding customer service and banking products.”
Also on hand at the ribbon-cutting ceremony were MAINEiacs players Sheldon Wenzel and Brandon Roach. The players signed autographs as well as practice jerseys that were raffled off. Also, a hockey stick signed by the entire MAINEiacs team was raffled off at the end of the evening.
Some of the many improvements offered by the new branch are a new traffic pattern, more parking and new teller lanes.
