CAPE ELIZABETH – The outdoor wedding of Kristin M. Hodgson and Wayne A. Lewis was held on Oct. 16 at Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth. A close friend of the bridegroom, Maureen Kelley, officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Steven and Georgette Hodgson of Rumford. The bridegroom is the son of Rita and David Nelson and John Lewis Sr. of Belfast.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory satin gown with multicolored embroidered flowers of lilac, periwinkle and sea green cascading down the front and back of her gown and train and A-line skirt. She carried a bouquet of Casablanca lilies, champagne roses, stephanotis adorned with crystals and accented by seeded eucalyptus.

Caitlin Regan, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor and bridesmaids included friends Sara Poulin, Melody Ryder and Jessica McCaffrey.

Kerry Kimball, friend of the bridegroom, served as best man and ushers included friends, Mark Sayer, Tim Dickey and Kevin Hofsaes.

Nicole Burgess, cousin and godchild of the bride, along with Rachel Lewis, niece of the bridegroom, served as flower angels.

A reception was held at Wassamki Springs Banquet Hall in Scarborough.
