BRISTOW, Ind. – Ronald A. MacIntire, 55, a former resident of Back Street, North Monmouth, died Friday, Dec. 3, at his home in Bristow, Ind., following a lengthy battle with cancer.

He was born Sept. 16, 1949 in Winchester, Mass., the son of Harold R. and Gertrude V. (North) MacIntire.

He was a graduate of Stoneham High School in Stoneham, Mass.

On Aug. 9, 1974, he married Kathleen A. Holbrook in Salem, N.H. She passed away in November of 1989.

He worked for Tex Tech in North Monmouth and recently for Masterbrand Cabinets in Indiana.

He enjoyed working on cars and doing woodworking.

He is survived by his significant other, Mary P. Moseby of Bristow, Ind.; two daughters, Theresa Rush and her husband, Andrew, of North Monmouth, and Nicole Cyr and her husband, Robert Cyr Jr., of Hanscom, AFB, Mass.; three grandchildren, Katy Childs and Morgan Rush of North Monmouth, and Rebecca Cyr of Hanscom AFB, Mass.; three brothers, Harold R. MacIntire Jr. of Radfield, Ark.; Stuart MacIntire of Andover, Mass., and Douglas MacIntire of Tewksbury, Mass.; two sisters, Roberta See of Woburn, Mass., and Marcia Barnaby of Titusville, Fla.

He was predeceased by his parents.
