OXFORD – The Skateboard Park Planning Committee will meet Tuesday.
The group has been waiting for a list of park materials from California Skateparks, the firm selected to design and help build the park.
Plans put together by the company call for a 7,600-square-foot park that will provide 16,000 square feet of skating area on a site in Paris. The park would cost $177,000 outright, but the committee hopes to whittle those costs to as little as $70,000 by gathering in-kind donations of materials, equipment and labor.
The group will meet at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Board Room at the Oxford Hills School District Office, Oxford Plaza, Route 26.
