LEWISTON – Francis “Frank” Levesque, 80, of 23 Perrier St., passed away Sunday, Dec. 5, as a result of complications from Alzheimer’s at Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion.

“Frank” was born in Lewiston on March 21, 1924.

He served in the U.S. Army Infantry during World War II in the South Pacific for 4 years.

He worked many years as an automobile salesman and his last 10 years worked at Bates College as the athletic equipment manager.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marguerite Gervais Levesque, of Lewiston; two sons, Marc and wife, Vicki, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Claude of Seattle, Wash.; and five grandchildren.
