FARMINGTON – A Franklin County sheriff’s cruiser was hit by a minivan Sunday while parked at Franklin Memorial Hospital.
Farmington police Lt. Jack Peck said Roaine Hatch, 80, of Wilton, operating a 1992 Plymouth minivan, backed into a 2001 Ford cruiser that was parked in the lot.
Deputy Richard Billian was inside the hospital when the accident occurred at 5:15 p.m., Peck said.
Damage to the cruiser was estimated at $700, and Hatch’s van had about $400 damage, he said.
