• Jeana Rivers, 29, of Chesterville, on charges of operating after suspension, failure to stop for an officer, attaching false registration plates, operating an unregistered vehicle, and failure to give correct name and address to a police officer, at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 2 on Route 2 in East Dixfield.

She is to be arraigned on Jan. 4 in Rumford District Court.

Incidents

• Dec. 1 – The owner of a Main Street business reported an incident of criminal mischief and attempted theft.

• Nov. 30, 7:55 a.m. – An unidentified caller reported finding a dead deer on the side of Route 2. On investigating, it appeared that the deer had been struck by a passing motor vehicle.

However, no corresponding reports of accidents with deer have been reported.

• Nov. 29, 8:35 p.m. – An East Dixfield resident reported that a domestic assault had occurred. An investigation revealed that no assault had occurred. The officer cleared the scene after making arrangements for the safety of all those involved.

• Nov. 29, 2:45 p.m. – A Weld Street resident reported a domestic incident. An investigation revealed that no crimes had been committed.

• Nov. 28, 7:45 p.m. – A Robbins Avenue resident reported a burglary in progress. An officer responded and found that someone had thrown rocks through two windows, but no entrance had been attempted.

• Nov. 28, 2:50 p.m. – An Oxford County Regional Communications Center dispatcher called, reporting that a truck had been vandalized west of Dixfield and that the perpetrator was fleeing eastward on Route 2.

Patrolman Mark Dow responded to Route 2 near the Mexico town line and met the vehicle, turned on it, and followed and stopped it on Route 142, also known as Weld Street in Dixfield.

Dow issued a summons to the driver, David J. Grant, 23, of East Parsonsfield, on charges of eluding an officer and criminal speed. Grant is to appear for arraignment on Jan. 4 in Rumford District Court.

Summonses

• Wendell Rose, 39, of Bethel, on a charge of operating without a license, at 9:20 p.m. on Nov. 28. He is to be arraigned on Jan. 4 in Rumford District Court.
