RUMFORD – The first New Year’s Eve party at the new Black Mountain of Maine ski lodge will be held from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Dec. 31. Dress is semiformal.

There will be dancing to the music of the E & I Band, hot appetizers and munchies, and a champagne toast at midnight along with a hot buffet.

People must be 21 or older to attend. Tickets may be purchased at $25 per person at Hair Design, Davis Florist and Adley Auto Sales, all in Rumford.

Wing Night with Karaoke

RUMFORD – Rumford Elks No. 862 will hold Wing Night with Karaoke Friday, Dec. 17, at the lodge. Hot or barbecue wings and fries will be for $5 from 5 to 7 p.m., or until sold out.
