Christmas tree is lit after a countdown by Santa Claus, bottom center, at Courthouse Plaza during the Downtown Lisbon Street Holiday Celebration on Wednesday evening. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived by firetruck while the Lewiston High School marching band played. A menorah was lit by Rabbi Hillel Katzir to recognize the second day of Hanukkah. The 35-foot blue spruce was donated by the Craft family on Balsam Street.
