Dear Sun Spots: Back in the mid-’60s, there was a board game called “Easy Money” that my family played each New Year’s Eve. It was similar to “Monopoly.” I have been unable to locate the game or its manufacturer. Could you or your readers please assist me in locating any information as to where I may obtain this game? Thank you. – Bill, Monmouth.

Answer: In addition to responses from readers, Sun Spots located one on eBay from a seller in California for $8.99. Check out http://stores.ebay.com/yourkindofcollecting for more details.

Dear Sun Spots: A few weeks ago, you had an article of someone requesting V.C. Andrews’ books. I went though my books and found four. Is it too late or impossible to relocate this individual? I would mail her these books she is missing. Thank you for your time. – No Name, No town.

Answer: Sun Spots would urge A.G. of Poland, whose request was in the Sept. 9 column, to please contact the column about these books.

Dear Sun Spots: The answer you gave to the person inquiring about a movie in which Jack Elam was riding a bike was incorrect. The movie you referred to had Jack Elam in it, but not riding a bike.

The movie you are looking for is “Once Upon a Texas Train,” starring Richard Widmark, Willie Nelson, Angie Dickinson, Chuck Connors and Stuart Whitman, along with Jack Elam. In it, a retired captain of the Texas Rangers (Widmark) recalls members of his old company (Connors, Whitman and Elam) to help chase down an old outlaw (Willie Nelson) who was sent to prison 20 years before. The outlaw, upon release from prison, has returned to his old ways by holding up a bank. Then the chase is on.

The movie was made in 1987 by Otto Nemenz International and released on DVD by Platinum Disc Corp., P.O. Box 2798, La Crosse, WI 54602-2798.

I purchased my copy at Wal-Mart in the $5.50 bin. If you need any further information, you may contact me at my e-mail address. I can be reached at [email protected]. – Gary McGraw, No town.

Answer: Thank you, Gary, for this great information. A co-worker has also recommended you check out Best Buy online or at the store for these movies. The reader originally asked for a movie starring both John Wayne and Jack Elam. The movie Sun Spots referred our reader to did include both actors. “Once Upon a Texas Train” didn’t star John Wayne from what Sun Spots can determine.
