LEWISTON – Charlene E. (Deering) Bond, 51, died at home after fighting colon cancer.

A longtime resident of Lewiston, she was born April, 9, 1953, in Miami, Fla.

She worked in the healthcare field in many capacities, recently for Community Partners.

She was educated, but still thirsty for knowledge.

She was the loving mother and grandmother of Anita and Amber Deering, both of Haverill, Mass.

She was also the beloved partner of 18 years to Patricia Polzer of Lewiston.
