FARMINGTON – Rae Alma “Rose” Frenette, 76, of Jay died early Thursday evening,Dec. 9, at the Sandy River Rehabilitation Center, Farmington.

She was born in Jay, Feb. 23, 1928, a daughter of Philias and Lucie Bariault Doiron. She received her education in local schools.

She married Edmund Frenette on Nov. 12, 1954 at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Hartford, Conn. He died Dec. 9, 1987. They made their home in Hartford, Conn., for many years before moving back to Maine.

Mrs. Frenette enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching “Jeopardy,” and will be remembered as being the “Coupon Cutter Queen.”

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Marc Bolduc, of New Britain, Conn.; a son and daughter-in-law, Leonard and Rachel Frenette, of Franklin, Tenn.; a sister, Marie Henry of Livermore Falls; three brothers, Tony Doiron of Livermore Falls, Steve Doiron of Florida, and George Doiron of Connecticut; five grandchildren, Carolyn and Melissa Bolduc, Jason Frenette, and Jennifer and Joshua Howell; three great-grandchildren, Jonah Benjamin Frenette, Cooper Dylan Howell, and Emma Rylee Bolduc.
